Shari Davis is entering her fourth season as the program coordinator for the Northwestern volleyball program.

Davis came to Northwestern after three years as the head coach at the Latin School of Chicago, where she led the team to three straight conference and regional championships. She compiled an 83-18 record at the school.

While at the Latin School, Davis also served as the Director of Training at the Division I Volleyball Club, where she oversaw the coaching and training program of junior high and high school students.

Prior to her move to Chicago, Davis was an assistant coach at North Dakota State from 2011-12. The Bison won a conference title and earned a trip to the NCAA tournament while Davis was on staff. Five student-athletes earned seven all-conference honors in two seasons under Davis' tutelage.

Davis has also served as a collegiate head coach, handling that role at Upper Iowa University from 2007-11. She led the Division II program from four wins the year before she arrived to a school record 16 wins in just her second season.

She was heavily involved in student-athlete affairs outside of volleyball during her stint at Upper Iowa, serving as an Assistant Director of Athletics, a Physical Education and Recreation instructor and as the Director of Athletic Recruiting.

Davis was a graduate assistant and strength trainer at Loras College from 2003-05 and before that was an assistant coach at the Courtmasters Select Volleyball Club. She graduated from Loras with a Master of Arts degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Administration.

She was a team captain, four-time conference champion and a two-time NCAA tournament participant during her playing days at Loyola (Chicago) from 1999-2002. She was voted Midwest All-Region her senior season, was the 2002-03 Loyola Female Athlete of the Year and earned numerous Horizon League All-Conference selections. Davis graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola in 2003 with a degree in business administration and marketing.
