Rob Lichten currently serves as Senior Associate Athletic Director - CFO. He is also the sport administrator for the women's fencing team.
As a Northwestern undergraduate in 1994, Lichten worked part-time in the Athletic Business Office and was hired as a full-time staff member in 1995. He represented the Wildcats as a student-athlete on the fencing team from 1991-95 and finished 13th in men’s foil at the 1994 NCAA fencing championships.
Lichten graduated with a bachelor's degree in speech from Northwestern University in 1995 and completed a master's in business administration at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management in 2007. He served on the NCAA fencing committee from 1999-2001 and 2015-2018, and is a member of the College Athletic Business Management Association.
Lichten and his wife, Joanna, reside in Evanston.
