Jillian Rubin joined Northwestern in January 2017. She is responsible for managing the health care of men’s and women's tennis and previously worked with the field hockey program from 2017-2023. Additionally, she is responsible for organizing and coordinating the monthly grand rounds educational series for the sports medicine staff, as well as managing Northwestern’s Board of Certification (BOC) approved provider status.

Rubin is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a degree in Athletic Training and Spanish. As a graduate assistant at The George Washington University, she worked primarily with the softball team, while earning a master’s degree in Tourism Administration, with a concentration in Sports Management. Her extensive training includes working as a staff athletic trainer at the University of California- Berkeley, Miami University (Ohio), the World Maccabiah Games, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Her professional interests include manual therapy, muscle energy, soft tissue mobilization, preventative functional rehab.

Rubin is originally from Metro Detroit, and resides in Chicago.
