Brian joined Northwestern in 2016 and has been in his current role since 2021. He is responsible for directing the athletic training services staff and department operations.

Brian is a graduate of Duquesne University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. He received a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Doctorate of Athletic Training from A.T. Still University.

His professional interests include leadership, quality improvement, and education. Brian was named a Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association in 2024

Brian is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and resides in Glenview with his wife Antigone and their children Meli and Ares.
