Conor Beebe joined the Northwestern staff as a volunteer coach in October of 2013. Beebe was a four-time NCAA qualifier for Central Michigan and was on the coaching staff at Gardner Webb University from 2010-2012.
Beebe helped guide four Gardner Webb student-athletes to become East Regional Champions and qualify for the 2011 NCAA National Championships, the most that the Runnin' Bulldogs have had in a single season since 2006.
"Conor is well respected in the Illinois wrestling community and understands that being a career coach is a lifestyle choice," said Pariano. " He's excited for this opportunity to coach in the most powerful wrestling conference in the nation and his style and level of intensity will help our student-athletes reach their goals."
