Lesley Moser
Lesley Moser joined Northwestern as an Assistant Director of Sports Performance in 2015 and was promoted to Director of Olympic Sports in 2020. During her time at Northwestern, she has worked with a number of programs and helped the Field Hockey team claim their first NCAA Championship in 2021.
 
Before joining the sports performance staff at Northwestern, Moser was at Stanford University from 2009-2015. She handled all the performance development for Women’s Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Men’s Tennis, Women’s Swimming, and Women’s Soccer. She helped to lead the soccer team to their first NCAA Championship in 2011. Prior to Stanford, she taught speed development and change of direction at Raleigh Orthopaedic Athletic Performance Center.
 
Moser attended Mississippi State University, earning her undergraduate degree in accounting and graduate degree in kinesiology. While at Mississippi State, she was a graduate assistant at the recreational center and interned in the athletics department. During the last year of her Master’s program, she interned at Athletes’ Performance in Gulf Breeze, Florida. There she gained valuable knowledge in sports performance working with professional, college and college prep athletes. 
 
Moser is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She earned her PRT (Postural Restoration Trained) certification in 2019 and is a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine where she holds certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Corrective Exercise Specialist. Other certifications she holds are American Heart Association CPR, First Aid, AED.
