Christa French (Women's Fencing, 2006-10)
A four-time All-American, Christa French capped her impressive Northwestern career with 341-107 record, good for a .761 winning percentage that ranked seventh in school history at the time of her graduation. Her 341 wins are the most at Northwestern by an epeeist.
French made an immediate impact on the Wildcats’ program, earning second-team All-America honors with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Championships as a freshman. That result was the first of three-straight second-team All-America awards. As a senior in 2009-10, she won best single-season match total with a 94-30 record before placing 10th at the NCAA Championships for an honorable mention All-America accolade.
French also won three All-Midwest Conference awards in her career, picking up one first-team and two second-team nods. She finished a career-best third in the conference with a 9-1 record in 2007.
