Women's Soccer Senior Day Reads
 
Simmrin Dhaliwal
 
Simmrin Dhaliwal has stepped up in every possible way throughout her four year career with the Wildcats, appearing in 35 games, and growing in her role as a dangerous wide player the last two seasons. She has appeared in 12 games in 2018 and assisted the game-winning goal in the season opener against Miami. She is accompanied by Gurvinder, Gurmeet and Jeevan Dhaliwal. 
 
Michele Chernesky
 
Michele Chernesky has done it all for the Wildcats in her four years, anchoring the midfield, filling in on the backline, and going forward to score crucial goals. She has started 65 games in 78 career appearances and scored 5 goals in her career including the 87th minute winner against Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal last season. She is accompanied by Linda, Tom, Matthew and Kristi Chernesky. 
 
Olivia Korhonen 
 
Olivia Korhonen has been an attacking force on the field her entire time as a Wildcat despite an injury keeping her from the field this season. In three years she appeared in 32 games, and memorably scored a tenacious header as the game-winning goal against Michigan in 2017. She is accompanied by Jane, Esko and Grey Korhonen.
 
Aspyn Repp 
 
Aspyn Repp has always been a reliable player in Northwestern’s midfield, stabilizing the unit with her vision and timely passing. She has appeared in 40 games over her Wildcat career, including 11 this season with starts in the last two contests against Maryland and Indiana. She is accompanied by Gordon, Kim, Graham and Lauryn Repp.
 
Molly Lansford
 
Molly Lansford has been an integral member of the goalkeeping squad throughout her four years at Northwestern and is always ready to answer the call. She is a great teammate who was once a student of the game, and now a role model not just for the goalkeepers, but for the entire squad as well. She is accompanied by Mark and Michelle Lansford.
 
Jenny Haskel
 
Jenny Haskel has always been one of the greatest students of the game, and persevered her entire career, through illness and injury her first few seasons to become one of the most reliable players on the field as a senior. She has appeared every game but one this season with four starts and scored her first collegiate goal against Michigan in a 4-1 win. She is accompanied by Amy and Bill Haskel
 
Nikia Smith 
 
Nikia Smith, who came to Northwestern in 2014, is one of the first members of the greatest Northwestern defense in program history. She helped the Wildcats post the lowest goals-against-average in the country in 2016 and remains one of the fastest players to ever wear the Purple and White. Despite missing 2017 with an injury, she bounced back this year to take part in the longest shutout streak in program history. She is accompanied by her dad Charles, her mom Nicole, her brother Charles and her sister-in-law Jhasidy.  
 
Marisa Viggiano
 
Marisa Viggiano is one of the best midfielders to ever play for the Wildcats, recording three goals and 19 assists over her career. She is ranked third all-time in assists in program history and was named First Team All-Big Ten last season. Her consecutive games-started streak finished at 82 games this week, the third-longest streak in NU history. She is accompanied by Lisa and Tom Viggiano. 
 
Brenna Lovera
 
Brenna Lovera has been the Wildcats’ most reliable attacking threat over the course of her career, scoring 17 goals, the ninth-most in program history. Her 11 career game-winning goals are a program record, and her seven goals this season lead the team. She is accompanied by John, Pam, Amanda, Steven and Andrew Lovera.
 
Hannah Davison
 
Hannah Davison has been a cornerstone of the best Wildcat defense ever, helping to post 46 shutouts in her time at Northwestern. As a defender she has tallied four goals and two assists in her career, and was an All-Big Ten Third Team selection last season. She is accompanied by Therese, Steve, Matthew, Sarah and Barbara Davison.
 
Kayla Sharples
 
Kayla Sharples is the other half of the greatest center back pairing in Northwestern history, that has broken numerous defensive records. In addition, Sharples has gone forward to score 9 goals as a defender, six of which have been game winners including the goal that gave Northwestern the Big Ten Championship in 2016. A First Team All-Big Ten Selection last season, she has started every game of her Northwestern career, a streak which now stands at 84, the second longest streak in program history. She is accompanied by Lynee and Norb Kieszkowski and Michele, Matt and Connor Sharples.
