ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Evanston Subaru in Skokie will donate $100 to the USO of Illinois every time the Northwestern Football team sacks the opposing team’s quarterback during the 2017-2018 season.
Evanston Subaru in Skokie and their owner Rob Paddor are avid supporters the USO of Illinois. Mr. Paddor is a member of the Board of Directors of the USO of Illinois. Over the years the Skokie dealership has helped raise thousands of dollars through numerous events benefitting the USO of Illinois. Mr. Paddor brought the grass-roots USO BBQ for the Troops Program to his contacts at the Chicago Automobile Trade Association. Through this partnership the BBQ for the Troops Program (#BBQ4Troops) has raised over half a million dollars for the USO of Illinois in five years.
The USO of Illinois touches the lives of more than 318,000 Active Duty, Guard and Reserve military and military families throughout Illinois. Offered year round, the USO of Illinois provides over 300 programs and services that enhance the quality of our service members lives which raise morale through unique recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities and USO Center facilities at Midway Airport, Great Lakes Naval Station, O’Hare Terminal 2, O’Hare Terminal 3 and the Rock Island Arsenal. Together, our network of hundreds of volunteers donates nearly 20,000 hours of service annually in honor of our brave men and women.
We ask those within the Wildcat Nation to donate to the Servicemen and Servicewomen who give us freedom.

Evanston Subaru in Skokie relocated from Evanston to Skokie in 2009. The dealership’s relationship with Northwestern Sports began in 2012. Fans love to spin-the-wheel and win purple Northwestern swag at the Evanston Subaru display before home football games.
In 2016, Evanston Subaru in Skokie was named the Subaru Love Promise Retailer of the Year, by Subaru of America. The award is given to only one dealership nationally, for community service. In 2017, the dealership’s owner Rob Paddor, received the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Village of Skokie for his involvement in Veterans groups like the USO of Illinois and Honor Ride Chicago. The dealership has a long history of community service with faith based groups, Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE), Wednesdays on the Green, NorthShore Center for the Performing Arts, the Skokie Library, local schools and many more . The dealership located at 3340 Oakton St. Skokie, IL 60076 is a modern Subaru mega-center. Visitors will find all the comforts of home, including free wifi, free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and espresso drinks from our Starbucks® service machine. You'll find ice-cold bottled water, fresh fruit and snack bars too. On Saturday mornings, co-owner, Bill Snowden brings in bagels and cream cheese!
