Michele Savage (Basketball, 1989-92)

One of only two players in Northwestern history to be named a three-time first-team All-Big Ten through 2007, Savage garnered All-America honors in 1991. At the time of her induction, she held NU's career record for field goal percentage (.606) while ranking among the school's leaders in points (1,688), rebounds (681) and steals (200).

A five-time Big Ten Player of the Week, she was named a second-team Big Ten Centennial squad selection. She averaged 25.2 points per game in 1990-91 in Big Ten action, the third-best average in league history. In 1990, Savage helped lead Northwestern to its first Big Ten title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
