Timothy G. Lowry (Football, Wrestling, 1923-25)
Lowry played center for Northwestern, and in 1925, he won the Chicago Tribune Silver Football Trophy, the unofficial Most Valuable Player award for the Big Ten. In addition to being NU's first All-American of the modern era of college football, Lowry also lettered in wrestling as a heavyweight.
After his playing career at Northwestern, Lowry was an attorney in Chicago for many years, and he served as the secretary and treasurer of the Illinois Center Corporation.
