Clark E. Graebner (Tennis, 1963-67)

One of the best tennis players to ever play for the Wildcats, Graebner won the Big Ten Singles Championship in 1965 after three-straight Big Ten titles by his doubles partner, Marty Riessen. Graebner and Riessen formed one of the top doubles combinations in the country, winning consecutive Big Ten Doubles Championships in 1963 and 1964 and advancing to the NCAA semifinals twice.

Also in '63 and '64, Clark was named All-American, the only two-time All-American in Northwestern history at the time of his induction. Professionally, he was a member of the United States Davis Cup team from 1965-68. He won the French Open Doubles Championship in 1966 and the U.S. Clay Court Singles title in 1968. He was inducted into the ITA Hall of Fame in 1991.
