WHY NORTHWESTERN?
I chose Northwestern without realizing how incredible it is academically. I initially chose Northwestern because of the coaching staff, but with what I know now, I would not only choose Northwestern because of the coaching staff but also because of the team that is now my family.
GET TO KNOW EMILY OFF THE COURSE:
What are you studying? Any career goals? Majoring in communication studies and hoping to go into sports marketing and business.
What do you love about Northwestern Cross Country? I absolutely adore the team and coaching staff here at Northwestern.
Favorite memory of Northwestern Cross Country? So many good memories, but some of my favorite are just the seemingly mundane things we do as team where we are always laughing.
What do you love about running? I love working towards PB’s knowing that it is the fastest I have ever ran before and see how far I can push the limits of my body to go further and faster.
What hobbies do you enjoy? I love getting creative and crafty. I like digital design, sewing, painting and drawing (even if I am not that great). I also love just hanging out with friends, eating good food and listening to good music.
