Nelson Selected for U.S. Under-19 WNT Training Camp

EVANSTON, Ill. – Goalkeeper Nyamma Nelson has been named to the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team for its upcoming training camp.
Nelson joins a roster of 24 players that will train from June 25 to July 3 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga.
As a first-year, Nelson started every game of the 2026 campaign, posting 10 clean sheets, the most by a first-year goalkeeper in program history. The rookie from West Linn, Ore., posted an .815 save percentage and a .81 goals against average on the season.
Nelson has previously represented the U.S. at the U-18 level at multiple training camps and joins teammate Keira Kemmerley as the second U.S. Youth National Team callup.
The Wildcats will open the 2026 campaign on Aug. 12, at Virginia, and will lift the curtain on their home schedule on Thursday, Aug. 20, against Syracuse at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium.
