Wildcats Set to Begin NCAA Tallahassee Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Northwestern Men's Golf returns to the NCAA Championships for the ninth consecutive season, competing as the No. 6 seed at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional in Tallahassee, Florida. The Wildcats kick off the event on Monday, May 12, with three days of action culminating with the final round on Wednesday, May 14.
Northwestern heads to the NCAA Championships following a regular season that yielded wins at both The Clerico and the St Andrews Links Collegiate, including back-to-back top-three finishes to close out the regular season at The Goodwin and the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial.
Northwestern, who is paired with Georgia and Louisville on Monday, is set to get underway off of hole 10 at 7:00 a.m. CT on Monday. Live scoring can be found via Scoreboard. Updates throughout the tournament can be found on the regional central page.
The Field
The Wildcats head to Tallahassee to take on host-school #11 Florida State, #3 Ole Miss, #15 San Diego State, #22 Georgia, Augusta, Davidson, Florida A&M, Furman, Louisville, Michigan State, New Mexico, Notre Dame, and Southern California.
The Course
Northwestern will travel to the Seminole Legacy Golf Club, located on the campus of Florida State University. Founded in 1962, Seminole Legacy recently completed a series of renovations under the direction of the Nicklaus Design Company, owned by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

Adam and Svärd were recently named to the All-Big Ten First Team, with Svärd being a unanimous selection. Shiels-Donegan was selected to the All-Big Ten Second Team and Jeremy Chen received the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
The top five teams from the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, along with the low individual not on an advancing team, will advance to the NCAA Men's Golf Championships, May 23-28, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
