Northwestern Women’s Golf Signs Duo During Early Signing Period

EVANSTON, Ill. (November 12, 2025) – Northwestern University head women's golf coach Emily Fletcher announced the signing of two student-athletes to Athletics Scholarship Agreements on Wednesday. Ann-Sophie Bourgault (Gatineau, Quebec/Acellus Academy) and Rebecca Wang (Beijing, China/International School of Beijing) are set to join the Wildcats for the 2026-27 academic year.
 
"We are thrilled to welcome Ann-Sophie Bourgault and Rebecca Wang to our Wildcat Golf family," Fletcher said. "I anticipate this duo to have an immediate impact on our program."

High School/Club: Winner of the 54 Hole Fort Myers Junior Open … Secured a runner-up finish at the Circle K Junior Championship … Finished in second at the Dustin Johnson World Junior …  Took second place at the Will Lowery Junior Championship … Placed in third at the Golf Performance Academy Junior Championship … Took fifth place at the Canadian Junior Girls Championship … Followed it up with fifth place at the NextGen Selection Camp … Took runner-up honors at the 2024 54 Hole Fort Myers Junior Open … Claimed second place at the 2024 Kenton County Junior Open … Placed in fourth at the 2024 Dixie Women's Amateur and the 2024 Elite Invitational … Finished in sixth at the 2024 Florida Junior Tour Championship.

High School/Club: Competed for four years at the International School of Beijing, including three as a team captain … Currently competing at the National Games of China alongside current Wildcat Arianna Lau … Finished second in the Beijing Pearl third leg in the CLPGQ WAGR Points Series … Placed in 23rd at the 2025 Girl's Junior PGA Championship … Took runner-up honors at the 95th Ladies National Golf Association Amateur … Finished third in both the first leg of the Beijing Tianxing in the CLPGQ WAGR Points Series and the CLPGQ Mission Hills Series 3, while winning the first series … Winner of the 2024 AJGA Junior at Toftrees … Took second place at the HMG Junior Championship … Finished eighth at the 2023 China Amateur Open
