Men's and Women's Tennis Take Home ITA Academic Honors

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern men's and women's tennis both earned the ITA All-Academic Team Award, while nine student-athletes between the two teams earned ITA Scholar-Athlete distinction, the ITA announced Monday.
In order for a team to be awarded All-Academic status, they must achieve a team GPA of 3.2 or higher for the school year. To be named a Scholar-Athlete, individuals must finish the academic year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Women's tennis earned the team award for the tenth straight season and saw six individuals named scholar-athletes. Among them were Sydney Pratt and Kiley Rabjohns, who each earned the award for the third time. Britany Lau, Autumn Rabjohns, Maria Shusharina and Elisa Van Meeteren were also honored.
The men's team took home their third straight All-Academic Team Award. Max Bengtsson, Greyson Casey and Chad Miller were all named scholar-athletes for the first time in their careers.
