She went on to close the campaign with a 13th-place showing (20:47.6) at the NCAA Midwest Regional, securing All-Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Girdwood, Alaska native advanced on to the NCAA Championships, where she ran 20:24.9 to take 64th, the second-best placement by a Wildcat at the national meet in program history.
Earl continued to excel on the track, breaking program records in both the 1,500m run and 5,000m run during the Wildcats' outdoor slate.
