EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern saw 47 student-athletes earn Academic All-Big Ten honors during their winter seasons, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Among the group are three student-athletes who posted unblemished 4.0 GPA's during their season: Ben Forbes (Swim & Dive), Markie Hopkins (Swim & Dive) and Troy Fisher (Wrestling).

To earn Academic All-Big Ten distinction, an athlete must be in at least their second year at the institution and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0-or-better.
