EVANSTON, Ill. – No. 18 Northwestern fell 2-0 at home to No. 19 Michigan for its first loss of the season on Thursday at Martin Stadium.
Northwestern fell to 7-1-2 overall and 1-1-0 in Big Ten action after the loss.
How it Happened
Michigan scored in the 7th minute and again in the 82nd minute to escape with a 2-0 lead. The Wildcats recorded 13 shots in the loss, seven of them on goal. Northwestern faced nine Michigan shots, four of them on goal.
