Women's Soccer Announces 2023 Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – On the heels of a historic 2022 season that saw the program match records in wins and NCAA Tournament finish, Northwestern women's soccer released its 2023 schedule.
Following a pair of exhibition contests, the Wildcats will open the season on the road at Marquette on Thursday, August 17. Northwestern will return to Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium for its home opener on Sunday, August 20 to square off with Kansas State.
In a 2023 NCAA Tournament rematch, the 'Cats will travel to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Wildcats defeated Vandy 2-1 in the Second Round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament behind goals from Josie Aulicino and Bridget Mitchell.
The 'Cats will open Big Ten play on the road at Purdue on Sunday, September 17. NU will host Michigan on Thursday, September 21 for its Big Ten home opener at Martin Stadium.
Northwestern will conclude its regular season home slate in a conference matchup with Minnesota on Thursday, October 19. The Wildcats will close out the regular season on the road at Rutgers on Sunday, October 22.
Northwestern will face Toledo, Weber State, and Virginia Tech for the first time in program history in 2023.
Admission to Northwestern soccer matches at Martin Stadium is free all regular season long.
