Wildcats capture second consecutive team championship in regular-season finale
NAPA, California -- Led by tournament runner-up Dianna Lee, No. 15 Northwestern won the 2023 Silverado Showdown team title on Wednesday in northern California. The Wildcats led wire-to-wire to win the tournament by six strokes in a field that included six of the nation's Top-15 teams, the program's second consecutive event win.

A balanced attack resulted in three Wildcats finishing in the Top-15 with Jieni Li (T5) and Lauryn Nguyen (T15) joining the rookie, Lee, in the upper-echelon of the leaderboard. The runner-up result is the best of Lee's young career in Evanston.
