Kelly Sim Wins Big Ten Golfer Of The Week Honors

Graduate student recognized after winning PING/ASU title, third championship of her career
EVANSTON, Illinois -- Graduate student Kelly Sim has been named Big Ten Golfer of the Week, the Conference announced Wednesday.
- Sim shared medalist honors in leading the 'Cats to a first-place finish at the PING/ASU Invitational, held March 24-26, in Phoenix, Ariz.
- The Wildcats led wire-to-wire, finishing 14 strokes ahead of a field that included seven Top-15 schools
- Shot rounds of 68, 69 and 69 to finish with a 10-under-par 206 at the Papago Golf Club, earning her second title at the event (also won in 2021) and third of her career (2020 Bruin/Wave Invite)
- Secures fourth career Golfer of the Week award, having been honored four-straight seasons
