
Northwestern Women’s Golf Adds Three During Early Signing Period

Elise Lee, Hsin Tai Lin, Megan Meng to join ‘Cats at start of 2024-25 academic year
EVANSTON, Ill. (November 9, 2023) – Northwestern head women's golf coach Emily Fletcher announced the signing of a trio of student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. Elise Lee (Irvine, Calif./Crean Lutheran), Hsin Tai Lin (Taoyuan, Taiwan/IMG Academy), and Megan Meng (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley Central) will join the 'Cats at the start of the 2024-25 academic year.
"Coach Beth and I are thrilled to welcome Elise, Hsin Tai, and Megan to our Wildcat Golf family," Fletcher said. "We identified these three players very early on in the recruiting process, knowing if we could bring them together, we would have a formidable class. We expect their collective impact to be exceptional."
ELISE LEE
Irvine, Calif. • Crean Lutheran High School
High School: Attended Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif. … Four-year varsity player who was twice named a team captain … 2022 Rolex Junior All-American … 2021 Toyota Tour Cup Player of the Year … Four-time First Team All-Empire League selection … Won three Empire League titles, a run highlighted by a senior campaign in which she helped lead Crean Lutheran to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division II State Championship … Reached the regional meet as an individual during all four years of her high school career … Daughter of Moonjoo and Jiyoung Lee … Intends to study Communications at Northwestern.

High School: Native of Taoyuan, Taiwan who attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. … Named Team MVP in 2022 … Shared first at a U.S. Women's Amateur Qualifier in 2022 … Earned a runner-up finish at 2022 U.S. Junior Girls Qualifier … Battled to a 15th-place showing at the Kenda Tire TLPGA Open … Tied for 13th at TLPGA BNP PARIBAS Open Amateur … Finished atop the leaderboard at the 2019 IMG Junior Championship … Daughter of Cheng Hao Lin … Intends to study Business at Northwestern.
