Wildcats Continue Winning Ways Against Butler

Northwestern grabbed its fourth consecutive win on Sunday against the Butler Bulldogs
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern shut out Butler 1-0 Sunday on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.
The win boosted the Wildcats' record to 6-1-1 overall, to continue the program's best start since 2018.
How it Happened
Northwestern started the scoring when Josie Aulicino scored her fourth goal of the season in the 7th minute, assisted by Ella Hase and Aurea Del Carmen. The goal was the only score in the match.
Butler's best chance of the game came off a penalty kick in the 48th minute. Mia Raben was up to the task, saving Katie Soderstrom's shot and pushing it away for a corner kick.

- The four-game win streak is Northwestern's longest since 2017's six-game win streak
- Reiley Fitzpatrick and Mia Raben extended their combined shutout streak to 356 minutes, last allowing a goal in the 4th minute to DePaul.
