Northwestern University's Department of Athletics & Recreation (NUDAR) is a vital part of the university community, providing opportunities each year for more than 500 student-athletes to develop in the classroom, in the community and in competition, for thousands of Wildcats to gather together for events, and for even more students, faculty, staff and community members to take advantage of world-class recreational opportunities. We have a shared commitment to excellence in all of our endeavors and that is why we must continually evaluate ourselves and be clear in our priorities.
To that end, NUDAR has embarked on a comprehensive strategic planning process to define our core values, mission, vision and strategic priorities for the next five years. The work began with a charge from Combe Family Vice President for Athletics and Recreation Dr. Derrick Gragg and includes focus groups, one-on-one meetings and now, a brief survey, to help us gather additional input and data.
Your participation is critical to our work and we invite you to participate in the anonymous survey linked below that was created by NUDAR's Strategic Planning Committee in consultation with members of the Northwestern faculty and the Office of Institutional Research. The survey link will remain open until June 1, 2022.
