COLUMBUS, Ohio –– Meg Boade and Emma Phillips tallied goals in a 2-0 shutout victory over Ohio St. Sunday on the road at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
The victory improved Northwestern's record to 13-3-2 overall and 7-2-1 in Big Ten action.

Northwestern broke the scoreless tie when Phillips notched her third goal of the season in the 17th minute, assisted by Josie Aulicino her eighth of the season.
The Wildcats tacked on another score on a goal from Boade -- her sixth goal of the season -- in the 19th minute, assisted by Aurea Del Carmen.
The Wildcat defense held strong to keep the Buckeyes scoreless for the remainder of the game.

- The two first half goals marked the 11th time in 13 games that the Wildcats notched a first half goal
- With Emma Phillips goal, seven 'Cats have tallied three goals
- Mia Raben piled up four saves for the Wildcats out of nine total Buckeyes shots
