Wildcats Host Strong Field at Windon Memorial

Northwestern men's golf continues their fall season next week, hosting the 24th Windon Memorial at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe.
The tournament will begin with 36 holes on Monday, September 27, before an 18-hole final round on Tuesday, September 28.
A 14-team field including ranked opponents Georgia Tech and Kansas should provide a strong early season test for head coach David Inglis and the Wildcats.
Northwestern began the 2021-22 season at the Marquette Invitational in Erin Hills, Wisconsin with first-year Cameron Adam the top finisher for the 'Cats.
The Edinburgh native finished -4 under par for the tournament, good for a share of 18th in the 90-golfer field.
A strong second round -2 under par, 70, helped Adam shoot up the leaderboard in a tournament where he finished every round under par.
Graduate student Eric McIntosh and junior James Imai - who helped the Wildcats qualify for an NCAA Regional in the spring - both posted top-40 finishes in Wisconsin.
