Shusharina, McColgan Pick Up 2021 Big Ten Honors

ROSEMONT, Illinois — First year Maria Shusharina was named to the Big Ten Women's Tennis All-Conference Team, while junior Hannah McColgan earned NU's 2021 Sportsmanship Award.
Shusharina saw a majority of the action at the No. 1 singles position in 2021, going 9-13 overall with eight of the victories coming against league opponents. In doubles play, she went 8-8 overall with all eight wins coming in Big Ten play.
