Wildcats Conclude Regular Season with Fifth Place Finish

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Irene Kim took her third top-five finish of this season as the top-20 Wildcats finished fifth at the Indiana Invitational over the weekend.
The sophomore moved up eight spots on the last day with a three-under performance in the final round, the second best out of the entire field. Kim finished three strokes behind the three way tie for first place.
Kelly Sim finished in the top-25 for the fourth time this season.
The 'Cats had a great last round, climbing from seventh to fifth with the second best round three as a team. NU was led by Irene Kim and Brooke Riley in the final round, both finishing under par.

Chicago's Big Ten Team moves on to the postseason this weekend in Ohio where they will participate in the Big Ten Championship. Northwestern finished fourth out of all Big Ten schools at the Indiana Invitational.
