Wildcats Roll Past Purdue, 4-0

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Northwestern men's tennis earned a dominant 4-0 win over Purdue today in West Lafayette. The Wildcats, ranked #30 in the country, are now 6-4 on the season and have won four of their last five matches.
Northwestern swept the doubles point 2-0, with Chris Ephron and Steven Forman's game ending unfinished with the duo leading 5-3. #57 Simen Bratholm and Nick Brookes made quick work of their opponents, winning 6-2, followed by a 6-3 victory from Natan Spear and Gleb Blekher.
After claiming the doubles point, the 'Cats earned three quick victories to win the match.
Chris Ephron and Nick Brookes downed their opponents in two sets each, while Trice Pickens came roaring back from a first-set defeat to give the Northwestern the win.
The Wildcats look to continue their hot streak this Sunday as they travel to Bloomington to take on Indiana at 11 a.m. CT.
