Wildcats Fall to Boilermakers on the Road, 1-0

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Northwestern dropped a close 1-0 matchup to the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday afternoon at Folk Field.
The Wildcats got off eight shots, three of which came from Josie Aulicino. The first -year Aulicino recorded both of the 'Cats' shots on net in the game.
Mackenzie Wood matched her season-high with four saves in net on the afternoon. Wood has now recorded three or more saves in five of the Wildcats' six games on the year.
Northwestern now sits at 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats will be back in action this Thursday as they play host to the defending Big Ten Champions, Wisconsin Badgers, beginning at 5 pm CT.
