McKeown Inks Three Members to Class of 2026

Evanston, Ill. - Head Coach Joe McKeown welcomed three incoming student-athletes to Northwestern Women's Basketball on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day.

The three members of the class of 2026 include Alana Goodchild, Lauren Trumpy and Caroline Lau.

"We are really excited about our recruiting class, as we feel that we've added three outstanding student-athletes to the Wildcat family," McKeown said. "This class comes to Northwestern from different parts of the country and the world, and addresses some of our needs, position-wise. Alana, Lauren, and Caroline all bring great work ethic, talent, and unselfishness to our program. All three were highly recruited and chose Northwestern and the Big Ten, and all three have great futures ahead of them."

All-State, All Mid-Penn conference first team…Two-time member of the Penn-Live Fab 15...All Sentinal First Team…Also an All-Conference and All-State volleyball player…Helped the Shamrocks win a state volleyball title…Played club basketball with the Mid-Penn Motion….Honor Roll student...Played against Northwestern freshman Mercy Ademusayo in high school...Grandfather Bob Trumpy played for the Cincinnati Bengals and was an NFL announcer, calling four Super Bowls on NBC…Brother, Josh Trumpy, played basketball at West Chester University…Second cousin, Mike Trumpy, was a running back for Northwestern from 2009-2013…Daughter of Adrian Trumpy and Jason Trumpy…Parents played basketball at Robert Morris
