Inglis Welcomes Trio of Wildcats on National Signing Day

EVANSTON, Ill. — Head Coach David Inglis announced three new Wildcats on Thursday, as Akshay Anand, Daniel Svärd and Ethan Tseng joined the Northwestern men's golf program.
"We are really excited to welcome Akshay, Daniel, and Ethan to Northwestern next fall," Inglis said. "In these three young men we have found players that love Northwestern, pursue excellence in everything they do, and more than anything want to win championships together as Wildcats."
The class includes the captain of the Swedish national team at the 2021 European Boys' Team Championship in Svard, a former Washington state champion in Anand and 2021 U.S. Amateur qualifier Tseng.
"Coach Inglis did a great job of identifying and signing three young men who represent the values of Northwestern Golf and our athletic department," Northwestern Director of Golf and Player Development Pat Goss said. "They are all three strong students and great players who have shown the ability and desire to continually improve. This is a strong recruiting class that will make an immediate impact on our program."
