EVANSTON, Ill. – Six Wildcats will compete in the Wildcat Invite at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center starting Friday afternoon.
Fans are encouraged to cheer the Wildcats on in person all weekend, with competition taking place on Friday starting at noon (3 p.m. for Northwestern), 10 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
The draw can be found here, as well as results.
This weekend's matches will feature three duos of Wildcats: Hannah McColgan and Kiley Rabjohns, Maria Shusharina and Sydney Pratt, and Justine Leong and Ema Lazic.
Northwestern women's tennis will host seven other teams, including No. 8 Duke, and feature 44 players for the Wildcat Invite. Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Iowa will also be competing, among others.
The matches will be played in a compass draw format over a series of three days, with each team playing three times to move either up or down in their bracket. The matches will be a mix of one doubles set and two singles matches worth one point each. A team will need to earn two out of the three points possible to win and move up as a team. All three matches will be played out.
