EVANSTON, Ill. – The Wildcats continue fall competition this weekend at the 33rd annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Tuscaloosa, hosted by Alabama.

Four Wildcats will take the court in the two-day competition of singles and doubles: Hannah McColgan, Sydney Pratt, Kiley Rabjohns and Aino Alkio. 14 schools will be in attendance with 66 singles competitors and 33 doubles teams: Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Indiana, Maryland, Memphis, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Alabama, Troy, Tulane, Virginia Tech, UAB and Wisconsin.

There will not be live scoring or streaming, but results will be updated throughout the weekend here.

The participants will be split into compass draws of eight singles players and eight doubles teams, although one doubles draw will be a round robin format with nine teams – Rabjohns and Alkio are in this draw.

McColgan and Pratt will use the opportunity this weekend to hone their chemistry against strong opposition to prepare for the ITA Fall Championships. The duo have been on a tear this fall, winning three matches in a row at the ITA Midwest Regionals in Champaign to qualify for the ITA Midwest Super Regionals, where they advanced all the way to the finals last week. They will compete in San Diego at the Fall Championships as part of the top 32 doubles pairings in the country.

Both McColgan and Pratt competed at the Wildcat Invite in Evanston, as did Rabjohns. Pratt earned an impressive win over Eliza Omirou of Duke in her bracket's semifinals while McColgan went 3-0 in singles with wins over competitors from UIC, Iowa and Michigan State. Rabjohns earned wins against the Flames and Spartans.

Alkio will be making her first competitive appearance for the Wildcats. Her first match in singles will come against Anna Parkhomenko of Alabma, who played at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 sinlges for the Crimson Tide in 2021.
