This Week With the 'Cats, January 11
 
 Northwestern University athletics will have three programs in action this week, each of whom will be participating in season-opening match play.
 
Women's Golf
 
 
The Wildcats' women's golf team will open its season against Big Ten rival Ohio State on Saturday, Jan. 16. It will be the first appearance for Head Coach Emily Fletcher's side since the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate tournament during the weekend of March 6, 2020.
 
Northwestern will aim to continue its streak of reaching the NCAA Regionals for the 11th consecutive season and qualify for the NCAA Championships for the seventh straight time in 2021.

Swimming & Diving
 
 
The Northwestern Swimming & Diving program is set to travel to Bloomington, Ind. for meets against Big Ten foes Indiana and Michigan on Friday, Jan. 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16.
 
Both the women's and men's teams are coming off strong campaigns prior to the cancelation of postseason play due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each team took home a top-five finish overall at the Big Ten Championships and went undefeated in conference action. The women's team recorded an impressive 12-3 overall record while the men's earned its first winning season (8-5) since the 2013-14 campaign.

Swimming (beginning at 11 a.m. CT): 200 Medley Relay, 1,000 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Butterfly, 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, 500 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, 200 IM, 400 Freestyle Relay

Wrestling
 
 
Northwestern wrestling will return to action for the first time since the Big Ten Championships of 2020 with road tilt against Purdue on Friday, Jan. 15. Wildcat fans can tune into Big Ten Network at 6 p.m. CT to see NU take on the Boilermakers.
 
Head Coach Matt Storniolo and Co. will face a challenging test while competing in West Lafayette, Ind. The Boilermakers are coming off their fifth winning season in the last six years, including a victory over the 'Cats in January 2020.
