Letter To NUDAR Family

Wildcats Family,

This outreach is sent with a heavy heart and indescribable anguish. I am distraught and horrified by the racism and racial violence so visibly on display in our country over the past days and weeks. We cannot be silent.

It's difficult for many of us to imagine the fear and anger felt by those in our communities with marginalized identities. We all must engage in this conversation with those around us…...our children, family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and teammates.

Racism and racial violence cannot be tolerated. They cannot be ignored. And they never will go away until each of us acknowledges and accepts our individual responsibilities to dismantle systems of oppression.

Make no mistake: we have to be active participants in this fight. We all must be better and hold each other accountable if we are truly going to respect and love one another as human beings.
