Bartolotto Shines at BU Invitational in the 5K

BOSTON - Kalea Bortolotto came out on top in the Women's 5000 meter event at the BU Invite over Valentine's Day weekend at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.
RESULTS 5000 METER | RESULTS 3000 METER
The first year from Livermore, CA. crossed the finish line first with a time of 17:29:89. This marks her first first place finish of the indoor season.
Bortolotto is coming off a third place finish at the USATF XC Championships, earning a spot on Team USA at the 2020 Pan Am Cross Country Championship held on February 29 in Victoria, Canada.
In the 3000 meter event, first year Amanda Davis earned the runner up finish in the third heat with a time of 10:06.39. She is coming off a first place finish in the 5K in her heat at the Power Five Invitational last week.
Next up the 'Cats will take a well earned break to prepare for the NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, NM, March 12-13.
