Community Group of the Game Spotlight: Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago

Supported by Northwestern Medicine, Northwestern Athletics will spotlight a 'Community Group of the Game' during each week of a home and away basketball game.
In this week's spotlight, the athletic department recognizes the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago, an organization that is dedicated to helping people with epilepsy live their everyday lives. This is achieved through presentations focused on advocacy, services that help individuals manage issues related to epilepsy, and programming that educates others on seizure recognition and first aid.
The athletic department has partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago through the Community Group of the Game initiative. Under normal circumstances, this initiative helps local organizations in the Evanston and Chicago communities receive an exclusive game-day experience, which includes admission to the game, a meal voucher and airtime on the jumbotron as the featured group of the game.
