Tip Times Finalized for Wildcat Home Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women's basketball finalized its home tip times for the upcoming 2019-20 season with 17 contests at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

The Wildcats host a prolific slate in Evanston, with eight weekend contests, a six-game homestand and eight matchups against members of the Big Ten.
Northwestern will take the court for the first time in an exhibition on Nov. 6 against Lewis at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats open the season in earnest on Sunday, Nov. 10 when they welcome Loyola Maryland for a 2 p.m. tip.
After a two-game road trip, the 'Cats open their season-long homestand with Valpo on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. before facing Colgate on Wednesday Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving, at 2 p.m. NU will then welcome crosstown rivals DePaul for a 2 p.m. Sunday tip on Dec. 1.
The homestand continues with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge as Boston College visits Welsh-Ryan for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday, Dec. 4, followed by another visitor from the Northeast in Dartmouth on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.
The Wildcats wrap up the home non-conference slate with their annual field trip day against UT Arlington on Monday, Dec. 16 for an 11 a.m. contest.
Northwestern opens up its home Big Ten slate on New Year's eve with a 4 p.m. Tuesday matchup against the reigning Big Ten regular season champions Maryland. The marquee matchups continue with a visit from 2019 Big Ten Tournament champions Iowa on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m.
The Iowa matchup kicks off a series of three straight Sunday matinees, followed by Purdue on Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. and Penn State on Jan. 19 at 2 p.m.
The 'Cats hit the road before hosting Michigan for a Thursday evening ballgame at 7 p.m. on Jan. 30. Northwestern then entertains Michigan State for some Monday night basketball at 8 p.m. om Feb. 10.
The Purple and White have their last multi-game homestand with Nebraska on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. and Rutgers on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.
Chicago's Big Ten Team will close out their regular season against downstate rivals Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 29 with the contest set for either 1 p.m. or 5 p.m.
