Nonconference Schedule Set for Women’s Basketball, Tickets on Sale

EVANSTON, IL. - Season tickets for the 2019-20 Northwestern women's basketball season are now on sale in conjunction with the release of the Wildcat's nonconference slate.

Northwestern will play 12 nonconference games, including seven home contests before beginning Big Ten play.
After an exhibition against Lewis on Nov. 6, the Wildcats will tip off the year in Welsh-Ryan Arena against Loyola Maryland on Nov. 10 before traveling on the road to square off against Marquette (Nov. 14) and Duke (Nov. 17).
Following the brief road trip, NU will return to Welsh-Ryan Arena for a six-game homestand. Northwestern will first battle Valpo on Nov. 21 and then will face off against Colgate on Nov. 27. The 'Cats will play five days later when they take on cross-town rival DePaul on Dec. 1.
The nonconference schedule carries on for Northwestern as they welcome Boston College for the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Dec. 4.
NU will finish their home nonconference games with a pair of matchups against Dartmouth on Dec. 7 and UT Arlington on Dec. 16.
Finally, the Wildcats will close out their nonconference stretch in West Palm Beach, Florida for the West Palm Invitational, where the team will face their third ACC opponent, Wake Forest on Dec. 20. The 'Cats will return to action the next day to face either Xavier or UMASS.
Northwestern learned its conference opponents in April, but will find out dates and times in the near future. The 18-game conference schedule for Northwestern features five home-and-home series and eight games against opponents the Wildcats will see once, four at home and four on the road.
