EVANSTON, Ill. — The Northwestern cross country team will run its final regular season outdoor track meet of the season at the Oxy Invite in Los Angeles Saturday.
The Wildcats are coming off an impressive showing at the Huskie Classic in DeKalb, Illinois, last week in which junior Kelly O'Brien claimed the 1,500-meter. Head Coach 'A Havahla Haynes' lineup will include seven runners in a pair of events.
Sophomore Amanda Davis, junior Sarah Nicholson and sophomore Hannah Tobin will compete in the 5K.
First year Rachel McCardell, junior Aubrey Roberts, O'Brien and senior Isabel Seidel will run the 1,500-meter.
Chicago's Big Ten Team will be looking to improve their times in an effort to qualify for the NCAA West Regional Preliminary in Sacramento, California, May 23-25.
