2019 NCAA INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS QUALIFIERS
Roberts qualified with the eighth fastest 5,000-meter time in the field and will be one of just two Big Ten competitors in the race. The Eau Claire, Wisconsin, native became the first female cross country All-American in NU history in the fall and will look to make it two-for-two in her junior campaign at the Birmingham CrossPlex. She is the first NU cross country student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships since the program was reignited in 1998.
She set the school record and ran the fifth-fastest 5K in Big Ten history at the BU Season Opener on December 2, crossing the finish line in 15:32.38 to post her qualifying time.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live starting at 5:30 p.m. CT March 8 and starting at 4 p.m. CT March 9. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 9 p.m. CT Sunday, March 10 on ESPN2 and again Monday, March 11 starting at 9 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
