Northwestern Set to Host Penn State Thursday Night

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern [14-10, 7-6 Big Ten] will host the Penn State Lady Lions [10-13, 3-9 Big Ten] in Welsh-Ryan Arena, Thursday, Feb. 14. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CT.
The Wildcats return home following two, hard fought road matchups at No. 10 Maryland and at Minnesota. Lindsey Pulliam continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 16.4 points per game. The sophomore extended her consecutive double-digit scoring streak to 23 games, which is tied for the seventh longest streak in Northwestern history.
Abi Scheid has racked up a total of 41 points in her first three games back to lineup, including 18 points against Minnesota. Jordan Hamilton tied her season high of 20 points and a recorded career high five steals in Northwestern's overtime thriller with the Golden Gophers.
Penn State enters Thursday's contest looking to bounce back from a four-game losing streak and are 12th in the Big Ten. The last time Northwestern faced the Lady Lions, Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah recorded an outstanding 21 points and 14 rebounds.
