EVANSTON, Ill. — The Northwestern men's basketball team is 10 games into the season. As the Wildcats break for final exams with a 7-3 overall mark, we look back at highlights to this point.
 
FRIDAY, NOV. 2 | OPENING OF THE NEW WELSH-RYAN ARENA
Northwestern held a dedication ceremony for its most used and versatile arena before playing an exhibition game against McKendree.
   
THURSDAY, NOV. 8 | VS. NEW ORLEANS: RYAN TAYLOR GOES OFF FROM THREE
In his Northwestern debut, transfer Ryan Taylor scored a team-high 20 points to help Northwestern beat New Orleans, 82-44, in the 2018-19 season-opener. Taylor hit six 3-pointers in the win, the most by a Wildcat player in their debut.
 
 
MONDAY, NOV. 12 | VS. AMERICAN: VIC LAW AND DERERK PARDON
Seniors Vic Law and Dererk Pardon combined for 39 points and 24 rebounds. Law scored Northwestern's first nine points of the game en route to finishing with 26. It was the seventh time in his career that he scored 20 or more points in a game. Pardon tallied a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. His 18 rebounds were the second-most he has had in a game in his career.
 

FRIDAY, NOV. 23 | VS. La SALLE: THREE PLAYERS SCORE 20+ POINTS
For the first time since at least the 1989-90 season, three Northwestern players scored 20 or more points in a game as Northwestern topped La Salle, 91-74, in the second round of the Wooden Legacy. Ryan Taylor and Vic Law each scored 21 points, while A.J. Turner scored a then career-high 20. Law hit 14 free throws in the effort, the most by a Northwestern player since Drew Crawford made 13 at Purdue in March of 2014.
   
SUNDAY, NOV. 25 | VS. UTAH: 'CATS FORCE 21 TURNOVERS
In the finale of the Wooden Legacy, Northwestern forced Utah to make 21 turnovers – the most by an NU opponent this season and second-most by an opposing team in the Chris Collins era. The Wildcats held Utah to 24 points in the first half, marking the fourth time this season NU limited an opponent to under 25 points in a half.
 
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28 | VS. GEORGIA TECH: RYAN TAYLOR SCORES 20 POINTS
Ryan Taylor led a trio of double-digit scorers for Chicago's Big Ten Team, finishing with 20 points and four made three-pointers to help Northwestern claim a win in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge by beating Georgia Tech, 67-61.
 
SATURDAY, DEC. 1 | VS. DePAUL: A.J. TURNER AND VIC LAW
Northwestern basketball used a 25-0 run to come from behind to beat DePaul, 75-68. A.J. Turner dropped a career-high 24 points on just 13 shot attempts, while also stuffing the stat sheet with five assists, three steals, and three rebounds. His six made three-pointers were also a career-best for the redshirt junior who earned the Waldo Fisher-Frank McGrath Award — given to the MVP of the DePaul-Northwestern matchup — for his performance. Law led all scorers with 25 points in the game and went a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line.
