This is the first Big Ten weekly award for Roberts in her collegiate career. Roberts is the first Northwestern runner to win a weekly Big Ten award since Elena Barham in 2013. She is the 11th runner in program history to receive the honor.

Roberts and the Northwestern cross country team return to action when they compete at the Big Ten Championships in Lincoln, Neb. on Oct. 28 at 10:45 a.m.
