WNUR Set to Broadcast Every Game in 2018

EVANSTON, Ill. – Head coach Spencer Allen announced that every game for the upcoming 2018 season will once again be broadcast on either television, radio or online.
The announcement marks a continuation of an agreement between the university's athletic department and WNUR Sports, Northwestern's student-run radio station. WNUR will broadcast every Wildcat baseball game both on the road and at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park.
"We are excited to continue this partnership for a second season," Allen said. "Having all of our games broadcast last year really increased our fan's access to the team, and we're looking forward to that continuing this season. Our first stretch of the season is all on the road, so this allows our fans to follow us from the first pitch on Opening Day."
Fans can catch all the action from each game on WNUR's website.
"Our radio station is extremely excited to broadcast every Northwestern baseball game in 2018." said WNUR Co-Sports Director Will Greer. "The first year of our partnership with program last season absolutely shattered expectations. Being able to bring Northwestern fans live coverage of every game is a huge source of pride for our station, and our broadcasters are eager to hone their craft behind the mic this season, while producing a high-quality product. We are incredibly thankful to both Coach Allen and the program for another season of opportunities, and we continue to count down until Opening Day in Glendale."
Chicago's Big Ten Team begins the season with a four-game series against the University of Nebraska-Omaha in Glendale, Arizona, beginning Feb. 16.
