BTN Announces Big Ten Spring Championships Coverage

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Big Ten Network (BTN) is the home for complete coverage of the 2017 Big Ten spring championships in April and May, televising events in the sports of baseball, softball, rowing, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's outdoor track and field.
Broadcast coverage of Big Ten spring championships begins on Saturday, April 29, when BTN will televise the Big Ten Women's Golf Championship at noon ET, while the Big Ten Men's Golf Championship will air on Sunday, May 7, at 11 a.m. ET. TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio, will serve as the home to women's competition, while the Baltimore Country Club in Baltimore, Md., will be host the men. The Northwestern and Ohio State women's teams shared the 2016 Big Ten Championship.
The Big Ten Men's Tennis Championship, hosted by Purdue at 11 a.m. ET, will air live on Sunday, April 30 followed by the Big Ten Women's Tennis Championship, hosted by Illinois, at 1 p.m. ET.
Championship coverage continues on Thursday, May 4, as BTN airs the Big Ten Men's Lacrosse Tournament Semifinals, hosted by Ohio State at 5:00 p.m. ET and 7:30 p.m. ET. The championship will follow on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Semifinals of the Big Ten Women's Lacrosse Tournament, hosted by Maryland, will also air live on the network on Friday, May 5, at 6:00 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET, followed by the championship game at noon ET on Sunday, May 7.
On Sunday, May 14 at 7 p.m. ET, the network will air coverage of the Big Ten Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Penn State.
BTN will provide live coverage of the entire Big Ten Softball Tournament from Michigan beginning on Thursday, May 11, and concluding with the championship game at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 13.
At 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, May 20, BTN will televise the Big Ten Rowing Championship from Indianapolis. That event can be seen live on Sunday, May 14, via BTN2Go.
BTN's presentation of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament takes place May 24-28 from Bloomington, Ind. Live coverage begins on Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. ET and the Championship Game will air at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 28.
