ESPN to Televise All Three Nights of NCAA Championships in Prime Time

EVANSTON, Ill. – ESPN will televise its prime-time coverage of the 2017 NCAA Championships, marking the first time the network will air coverage for the championship's opening day. For the fourth consecutive year, ESPN will also make every match available to viewers in multiple capacities.
 
ESPN will televise the second round (March 16), semifinals (March 17) and finals (March 18) in prime time. ESPNU will cover the first round (March 16), quarterfinals (March 17) and the medal round (March 18), all of which will take place during the day.
 
Throughout the tournament, ESPN3 will stream each individual match, giving fans access to any school or wrestler. The network will offer multi-mat, simultaneous viewing, so fans can watch up to four different mats at a time. ESPN3 will also stream the Championship Finals.
 
Tim Johnson, Anthony Robles, Jim Gibbons, Lee Kemp, Billy Baldwin, Mike Couzens, Shawn Kenney and Quint Kessenich will provide commentary for the 2017 NCAA Championships.
